PETALING JAYA: First, there was Bryan Nickson Lomas who became the youngest Olympic debutant for Malaysia in Athens in 2004. Then it was Pandelela Rinong’s turn in Beijing four years later.

In London 2012, Wendy Ng Yan Yee and Ooi Tze Liang realised their Olympic dream while Nur Dhabitah Sabri joined the bandwagon in Rio de Janeiro five years ago.
