Plan B on standby for Azizul

System in place: National track cyclist Azizulhasni Awang (centre) celebrating with his family after winning the World Cup keirin gold in April.

NILAI: Azizulhasni Awang is still part of the national set-up but cycling head coach Harnizam Basri is also preparing to activate Plan B should the former keirin world champion decide against continuing his career.

Harnizam said Azizul remains in the team plans for now with the 38-year-old expected to join the squad for their final training camp in Brisbane on Monday ahead of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games from Sept 19-Oct 4.
