KUALA LUMPUR: National track cyclist Nur Alyssa Farid (pic) is determined to justify her place in the Fast Track programme by qualifying for her first senior World Championships this year.

The 21-year-old is only the second female rider after Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri to be selected for the elite programme, which is designed to give athletes an extra edge in their preparation for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
