Malaysia's team sprint trio smash national record en route to silver at Asian Cycling Championships


PETALING JAYA: The team sprint trio of Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri, Anis Amira Rosidi and Nur Alyssa Mohd Farid set a national record en route to claiming silver to mark a fine start for Malaysia in the Asian Cycling Championships in Tagaytay, Philippines Wednesday (March 25).

In the final, Nurul, Anis and Alyssa combined to stop the clock at 48.652s to settle for second place behind China's trio of Luo Xuenhuang, Wang Lijuan, Yuan Liying, who clocked 46.806s for the gold at the Tagaytay City Velodrome.
