Beasley confident New Joe will spring surprise at World Cup


PETALING JAYA: Track cycling technical director John Beasley wants Lau New Joe to hold his own turf against the big boys at the opening leg of the World Cup in Perth this weekend.

The 21-year-old will make his global stage debut, marking another big step forward in track cycling after switching from speed skating just four years ago.
