PETALING JAYA: Newly crowned world champion Mohd Yusof Hafizi Shaharuddin has moved to the top spot in the para track men’s elite C1 world rankings.

The 28-year-old Yusof moved up the rank after a golden performance at the World Champion­ships in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, where he made history by becoming Malaysia’s first para cycling world champion.
