PETALING JAYA: The Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL), South-East Asia’s oldest road cycling race, will see only two World Teams in action this year after French side Cofidis pulled out at the eleventh hour.

LTdL chief operating officer Emir Abdul Jalal confirmed that Cofidis had notified the organisers of their withdrawal last Thursday. Their spot has since been taken by Spanish Pro Team Equipo Kern Pharma.
