New Joe and Izzah ride to their third gold at national meet

PETALING JAYA: Young talents Lau New Joe and Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri romped to their respective third gold medals in the National Track Cycling Championships in Johor yesterday.

New Joe, the 20-year-old, who was formerly a speed skater before making the switch to cycling three years ago, won the men’s elite scratch race for Kuala Lumpur at Iskandar Puteri Velodrome.
