High motivation: Mohd Shah Firdaus Sahrom hopes to make a big impression in the national cycling meet to be held for the first time in Johor.

PETALING JAYA: The Johor Velodrome will host the national track cycling championships for the first time from May 20-25, setting the stage for Mohd Shah Firdaus Sahrom to achieve a rare double win.

Cycling technical director John Beasley believes the national meet later this month will be the perfect opportunity for Shah Firdaus to shine in his home state.
