KUALA LUMPUR: It is set to a joyful Hari Raya for Malaysia’s newly crowned keirin king Mohd Shah Firdaus Sahrom when he reunites with his family in Muar, Johor next week.

The 29-year-old Shah Firdaus will get to spend a longer time with them as he does not have to go under the knife for his tendonitis injury on his right knee, which he picked up while undergoing strength training in the gym early last month.
