NILAI: Woman track cyclist Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri wrapped up her campaign in the Asian Championships on a fantastic note by setting a new Asian record en route to winning the 1km time trial gold on Wednesday (Feb 26).

The Kedah-born blazed the National Velodrome track in Nilai with a time of 1:06.229s to leave China's Luo Shuyan behind at the second spot with 1:07.365s.
