Wan won’t do brother any favours

Good achievement: Mohd Ridwan Sahrom won the overall men’s sprint title and RM10,000 in the YSD Track Series at the National Velodrome in Nilai.

PETALING JAYA: National track cyclist Mohd Shah Firdaus Sahrom has to look behind his back for a familiar rival this year, who is none other than younger brother Mohd Ridwan Sahrom (pic).

Ridwan is hoping to start get out of the shadows of his elder brother Shah Firdaus, who is 29 and made the country proud by reaching the men’s keirin final at the Paris Olympics in August last year.
