SAINT QUENTIN-EN-YVELINES, France (Reuters) - Australia won the Olympic track cycling men's team pursuit gold medal at the National Velodrome after beating Britain in a thrilling final on Wednesday.

Italy, champions in Tokyo, easily overcame Denmark to take the bronze medal.
