NILAI: National track cyclist Azizulhasni Awang powered his way to the gold medal in the men’s elite sprint event in the National Championships at the Nilai National Velodrome today (May 16).

In the gold-medal showdown, Azizulhasni, nicknamed ‘The Pocket Rocketman’ and representing Terengganu, was in imperious form to brush aside national squad teammate Mohd Shah Firdaus Sharom of Johor 2-0.
