Azizul’s Asiad podium push could spark Shanghai worlds return

BUKIT JALIL: Track cyclist Azizulhasni Awang is set for three major assignments this year, but a return to the World Championships in Shanghai this October could be on the cards – provided he delivers at the Asian Games.

Malaysia National Cycling Federation (MNCF) president Datuk Amarjit Singh Gill said the 38-year-old’s involvement with the national set-up is confirmed up to the Asian Games, while participation beyond that will depend on results.
