ROAD cyclist Nur Amirul Fakhruddin Mazuki trained throughout Ramadan and even Hari Raya, leaving behind his wife and two young kids, and attending a training camp in Thailand.

The sacrifice he made has paid off with a precious gold in the men’s individual road race.
