Shah Firdaus still finding his pace after last year’s knee surgery

NATIONAL track cyclist Mohd Shah Firdaus Sahrom admitted he has yet to regain the pace he needs to be competitive at the highest level after undergoing knee surgery late last year.

The 31-year-old was placed fifth in the men’s keirin at the Izu Velodrome in Shizuoka on Friday but did not make it past the second round repechage in the individual sprint.
