World-class velodrome to be built in Nilai, not KL

KUALA LUMPUR: Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has announced that the only Class 1 velodrome in the country will be built in Nilai and not Kuala Lumpur.

Khairy said the ministry has decided to continue with the proposal of building the RM80mil indoor velodrome in Nilai, as mooted by the Prime Minister last year in the 2013 Budget.
