Rural Sports promotes healthy culture at grass-roots level

THE Selangor edition of Rural Sports (Sukan Luar Bandar) was held in Paya Jaras, Selangor, as part of the state government’s efforts to create a sporting culture and build a more healthy and energetic society.

The event held at the Paya Jaras Mini Stadium featured activities such as netball, penalty league, community sports (sukan rakyat), telematches, health check and a football match featuring former state and national footballers such as Datuk Santokh Singh.
