Indonesia’s Central Java team were crowned as champions of the inaugural Special Olympics Malaysia Unified five-a-side female football tournament held recently at the Universiti Malaya Arena in Universiti Malaya.

The two-day tournament featured six teams from Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. It was run on a unified format whereby three special needs players were paired with two able-bodied players.
