PETALING JAYA: National boxer Mohd Fuad Redzuan has welcomed the Malaysian Amateur Boxing Federation’s (MABF) decision to hire an Uzbekistan coach to helm the team.
The MABF, who did not reveal his name, said the former Olympic gold medallist has signed a two-year deal and will join the team in October.Fuad said getting a foreign coach is the next step to elevate the stan-dards of local boxers.
