No medal on final day but junior bowlers can be proud of Asian outing

PETALING JAYA: The national keglers can return home with their heads held high even though they did not add to their medal tally on the final day of the Asian Junior Championships at the Jaya Ancol Bowling Centre in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Saturday.

The squad had already bagged two golds – in the women’s doubles and all-events categories – and one silver from the women’s team event, with 18-year-old Helena Jamal rolling out a star showing being involved in all the silverware.
