PETALING JAYA: Defending champion Natasha Roslan (pic) safely negotiated her passage into the top-32 stage of the women’s singles event at the IBF World Championships in Hong Kong but it was the end of the road for two top Malaysian bowlers Sin Li Jane and Gillian Lim.

Li Jane, the silver medallist in the singles event at the previous world meet two years ago, made a shock early exit after missing out by 11 pins.
