Rafiq’s four-year itch

Rafiq: ‘The World Singles format is so much tougher. You have to be at the top of your game for an entire week to get to the title playoff.’

PETALING JAYA: At just 22, national bowler Rafiq Ismail has won every major title that the world stage has to offer – well, almost all. There is one title he is pining for.

Rafiq became Asian champion for the first time when he won the Masters’ event at the Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships (ATBC) in Hong Kong in 2016.
