PETALING JAYA: Women's doubles shuttlers Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah stormed into the Indian Open semi-finals after cruising past Taiwan's world No. 9 Hsieh Pei-shan-Hung En-tzu.

Pearly-Thinaah were in fine form and only needed 33 minutes to secure a commanding 21-16, 21-10 win over the Taiwanese duo at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi on Friday (Jan 16).

The world No. 2 pair have made it into back-to-back semi-finals in India and will be out to reach the final for the first time when they take on Japan's world No. 6 Yuki Fukushima-Mayu Matsumoto next.

It was a welcome return to form for Pearly-Thinaah after crashing out in the Malaysian Open second round last week.
