PETALING JAYA: Before jetting off to Paris for the World Championships, Malaysia’s women shuttlers made a pit stop for a different kind of fuel – a hearty meal with a familiar mentor.

Pearly Tan, M. Thinaah and Toh Ee Wei shared dinner with their former coach Kwan Yoke Meng, who once guided them as juniors, and still plays the role of motivator ahead of the competition starting on Monday in Paris.
