PETALING JAYA: Professionals Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie stayed steady to reach the mixed doubles quarter-finals in the All-England.

The top seeds Soon Huat-Shevon took only 25 minutes to beat Scotland's Alexander Dunn-Julie Macpherson 21-9, 21-10 in the second round in Birmingham on Thursday (March 13).

"It was all smooth for us and we are happy to reach the All-England quarter-finals," said Shevon.

Chipped in Soon Huat: "It was quite windy but we did well to adapt quickly."

They will play fifth seeds Jiang Zhenbang-Huang Dongping of China next.
