It’s not getting easier for Haikal as he races to get fit for Asia Team

Tough luck: Haikal Nazri and Choong Hon Jian made it into the second round of the Indonesian Masters last week before going down 17-21, 19-21 to Denmark’s Daniel Lundgaard-Mads Vestergaard in Jakarta.

PETALING JAYA: It has been a tough start to the year for men’s doubles shuttler Mohd Haikal Nazri after ending the previous year on a high.

Haikal had caught the eye by capturing back-to-back titles at the Syed Modi International and Indian Masters at the end of last year along with Choong Hon Jian.
