Yew Sin-Ee Yi's run ends in Japan Masters semi-finals


PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles shuttlers Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi's hopes of reaching their first World Tour final of the year were dashed after their run in the Japan Masters ended in the last four.

World No. 12 Yew Sin-Ee Yi went down fighting 21-16, 20-22, 17-21 to China's world No. 8 Liu Yuchen-Ou Xuanyi in a pulsating match at the Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium on Saturday (Nov 18).
