PETALING JAYA: Independent mixed doubles Chan Peng Soon-Cheah Yee See managed to break their early-round jinx after they stormed into the quarter-finals of the ongoing Orleans Masters in France.

The world No. 39 Peng Soon-Yee See defeated world No. 33 Chang Ko-chi-Lee Chih-chen of Taiwan 21-12, 10-21, 21-16 in the second round yesterday to book their spot in the quarter-finals.
