PETALING JAYA: China’s men’s singles shuttler Zhao Junpeng had to dig deep to lead his team to a battling 3-2 win over South Korea in their third Group A tie in the Asian Mixed Team Championships

World No. 12 Junpeng had an almighty scare against Cho Geon-yeop, who is ranked a lowly 230th in the world, before prevailing 11-21, 21-16, 24-22 in a thrilling opening match at the Dubai Exhibition Centre yesterday.
