Nova wants to be super

PETALING JAYA: Guiding a young Malaysian team will offer new mixed doubles coach Nova Widianto (pic) a huge challenge but the Indonesian is optimistic of helping at least one pair from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) to qualify for the 2024 Olympics.

Nova, 45, said he is not new to the situation as the Indonesian mixed doubles squad were also in the same boat for almost a year after Indonesia Badminton Association’s (PBSI) top pair Praveen Jordan-Debby Susanto turned professional in January.
