BANGKOK: Malaysia will face India in the quarter-finals of the Thomas Cup Finals.
In a draw conducted after the group stage, Group D champions Malaysia have been pitted with Group C runnners-up India.
The winners of the tie will face second seeds Denmark or South Korea in the semi-finals.
Yesterday, Denmark defeated China 3-2 in the final Group B tie to emerge as the champions.

China have been drawn to face defending champions and top seeds Indonesia in the last eight. The winner will face either Japan or Taiwan.
Said Malaysia's high performance director Tim Jones: "It's a good draw but we will not underestimate India. They have three good singles and one strong doubles, we will prepare the team to be ready for the task.
"We are pleased with Malaysia's win against Japan. The players did well."
