PETALING JAYA: Back-up shuttlers Yap Roy King and Nurfirdaus Azman bagged their first senior title at the Latvia International to show that they are on the right path to success as a pair.

The 20-year-olds upstaged Wan Arif Wan Junaidi-Haikal Nazri 21-23, 21-15, 21-19 in a 65-minute final in Jelgava on Sunday.
