Badminton: Red hot Hon Jian and Ee Wei win Austrian Open, third title triumph in as many tournaments


PETALING JAYA: There's just no stopping national mixed pair Choong Hon Jian-Toh Ee Wei as they won the Austrian Open for their third title in as many tournaments.

Hon Jian-Ee Wei, who were only paired up in February, stunned fifth seeds William Villeger-Sharone Bauer from France 16-21,21-9,21-19 to extend their impressive unbeaten run to 15 which saw them won also the Polish Open in March and Slovenian International Series last week.
