Jun Hao aims to make successful transition into senior ranks

Hoping to keep the momentum: Leong Jun Hao won the Asian junior title in 2017 in Jakarta.

PETALING JAYA: Shuttler Leong Jun Hao is the only junior champion left in the men’s national team and he is bent on keeping that status intact.

The 20-year-old Jun Hao, who won the Asian junior title in 2017 in Jakarta, knows that several others before him have failed to make a successful transition from being a top-class junior player to a world-beater in the senior team.
