SERDANG: A 16-year-old Malaysia Games (Sukma) record was shattered four times in a thrilling afternoon at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Stadium before Perlis shot putter Farhana Izurein Faizalamizul struck gold yesterday.
The mark of 13.39m, set by Johor’s Rahila Othman at the 2010 Melaka Games, had stood for a decade and a half before it was repeatedly rewritten in a gripping back-and-forth battle between Farhana and Johor’s Asyherina Kuja Anak Ujoh.
