No medal for Danish in Hong Kong but he can hold his head high


PETALING JAYA: National sprinter Danish Iftikhar Mohd Roslee’s (pic) run in the 100m final of the Asian Under-20 Athletics Championships in Hong Kong ended without a medal but the youngster can take heart after clocking his season’s best time yesterday.

The 19-year-old finished seventh in the finale with a time of 10.43s at the Hong Kong National Stadium but he posted an impressive 10.38s earlier in the semi-finals, which is his finest time this year.
