Grace admits gap on Asia’s elite far from a stone’s throw


PETALING JAYA: Grace Wong (pic) may be the undisputed queen of the hammer throw in South-East Asia but the Sarawakian admits she is far from a stone’s throw from the Asian elite of the discipline.

The 25-year-old, who rewrote the national record three times en route to her fourth SEA Games gold in Thailand in December last year, said she and coach Gu Yuan had an honest and detailed post-mortem after that success to identify areas that needed improvement if she is to compete with Asia’s beat.
