Norliyana happy with bronze after two difficult years

BANGKOK: It has been a difficult two years for veteran national athlete Norliyana Kamaruddin (pic) – so the bronze she delivered in the women’s high jump was reason to celebrate.

The 34-year-old Norliyana rose to the occasion with a leap of 1.75m to match her season’s best at the Supachalasai Stadium yesterday.
