Coach confirms Kristian for SEA Games after setting unofficial record

PETALING JAYA: National athletics head coach Manshahar Abd Jalil is impressed with runner Kristian Tung’s national record-breaking run in the 3,000m event in London recently.

Kristian, 21, had clocked a time of 8:15.81s at the BMC Record Breaker meet on Thursday, more than 10 seconds faster than the previous national record of 8:27.00 set by S. Muthiah in 1985 in London as well.
