Walker Jing Hong of FT breaks 20-year Games record

KUCHING: Federal Territories' walker Khor Jing Hong got the athletics competition to a blistering start when he broke a 20-year Malaysia Games (Sukma) record in the boys' 20,000m walk event at Sarawak Stadium on Monday, Aug 19.

The 19-year-old completed the race with a time of 1'34:38.20 and erased the old mark of 1'34:56.10 set by Perak's M. Thiagu at the Negri Sembilan Games in 2004.
