Maids should be treated with respect and dignity

WHILE attending a wedding luncheon last Saturday, I noticed that the bride and groom had reserved a table for domestic workers. Guests had been told they could bring their maids along.

I have attended numerous wedding luncheons and dinners before, but that was the first time I saw a host specifically inviting maids, too.
