MALAYSIA’S haul of medals at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand was its best ever outside Kuala Lumpur: 57 golds, 57 silvers and 117 bronzes for a total of 231, which took us to fourth place, behind Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, and ahead of Singapore.

What a great way to welcome new leadership at the Sports and Youth Ministry under Minister Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari and Deputy Minister Mordi Bimol. The result is also, if I may say, a win for popular outgoing minister, Hannah Yeoh.
