Esther: It’s not ideal to have another race as selection trial

KUALA LUMPUR: National triathlete and marathoner Esther Joy Chen (pic) hopes there will be more discussions on the 2027 SEA Games qualifying process after another selection trial was introduced yesterday.

The 23-year-old Esther was the top Malaysian at the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) on Oct 4, which doubled as the preliminary selection event for next year’s KL SEA Games.
