Take heed of King’s call for an education revolution 


HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has called for an education revolution that emphasises humanity, morality, emotional control and legal awareness (“King: Teach values, build discipline”, The Star, Nov 20).

Sultan Ibrahim, who is also the Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), expressed concern over recent serious criminal cases involving students, noting that such incidents raised questions about the moral, religious and character development of young people.
