Keeping the Malaysian dream alive for youths

MY grandparents were ordinary Malaysians. Born before Sarawak achieved independence, they had very little and often struggled to make ends meet. Yet, through hard work and perseverance, they gave my parents a chance. And my parents, in turn, gave my siblings and me a life they could never have imagined.

This story of one generation lifting the next is the story of Malaysia: families working tirelessly, making sacrifices, believing that tomorrow could be better. It is the essence of the Malaysian dream.
