It takes collective effort to stop bullying 


I FULLY support the views of the authors in the letter “Confront bullying early, consistently and seriously” (The Star, Aug 11).

Bullying in its early form can be subtle. A child might be excluded from a game, ignored by classmates or told he or she cannot join an activity. These actions may seem small but, if ignored, they can grow into a pattern that damages both the victim and the school.
