THE Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA) recognises that bullying remains a serious threat to the health, well-being and development of children and adolescents in our country.
Whether physical, verbal, relational or cyber-based, bullying can leave lasting scars on the victims, including anxiety, depression, refusal to attend school, social withdrawal, self-harm, and even suicidal thoughts. It disrupts their lives and the wider learning environment, eroding trust, safety and empathy within schools.
