THE “You Touch, You Go” policy recently championed by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) is more than just a catchy slogan; it is a decisive and highly effective approach to combating bullying.
From my years of service as a military trainer and later as a senior lecturer, I have seen countless attempts to address bullying through awareness campaigns, counselling and moral education. While the intentions are good, such soft approaches rarely change entrenched behaviour, particularly among individuals who grew up in permissive environments or were exposed to aggressive subcultures.
